Crispy Baked Potato Wedges Recipe

Ingredients:


  • 1 and 1/2 pounds petite potatoes
  • 1 and 1/2 tablespoons oil
  • salt
  • pepper


Directions:


  1. Preheat the oven to 450 degrees F.
  2. Wash the potatoes and cut them into quarters.
  3. Fill a large pot with water and bring it to a boil.
  4. Lower the heat to a low temperature setting and add the potatoes.
  5. Let them simmer for about 10 minutes or until they are tender when you poke them with a fork.
  6. Drain the potatoes and then put them back into the hot pot to help boil off any excess water.
  7. Add the oil and gently toss them until they are all coated.
  8. Season with salt and pepper.
  9. Spread the potatoes onto a baking sheet and bake them for about 30 minutes or until they are golden brown.  Every 10 or so minutes flip the potatoes to make sure that all of the sides get browned during the cooking process.
